20ft Open Side Shipping Container – Full Side Access, One Trip

The 20ft Open Side / Full Side Access Shipping Container provides wide, flexible access for commercial storage, equipment handling and applications where standard end-door access is not sufficient.

Unlike a conventional shipping container that is primarily accessed through doors at the short end, this model features double-hinged doors extending along one full side of the container. When opened, they provide an approximately 5.82 m (19.1 ft) side opening, making it easier to load, unload and organize large or awkwardly shaped items. Standard double cargo doors at the end provide an additional access point.

The container measures approximately 20 ft long × 8 ft wide × 8 ft 6 in high externally and is manufactured from Corten steel for durability and resistance to weather exposure. A 28mm marine plywood floor supported by steel cross members provides a practical surface for storage and material-handling applications.

The full-side-access configuration is particularly useful for palletized inventory, machinery, construction equipment, tools and other cargo that may be difficult to maneuver through standard container doors. It can also provide a practical base for workshop, retail, exhibition and other container conversion projects.
